Our first wild crop
Jennie battled the thorns today and picked a load of wild blackberries. There are many bushes and the fruit is starting to ripen. She plans to make jam to use in the morning for our guests. If she picks enough there are also plans for a wee bottle or 2 of blackberry gin for Christmas but it may not last that long!
