We decided to treat Killean to a new carpet for the hallways downstairs and upstairs. The boys at Floorshop Oban / Lochgilphead did a fantastic job over a weekend. Prior to fitting the new carpet the old one had to be lifted. While removing the old carpet we were delighted to find a newspaper from 1984 and relive the news. Margaret Thatcher was still in No.10 and Alex Ferguson was still at Aberdeen! We hope the paint colour scheme complements the carpet and kudos to Dawn for the help painting the hallways. Looking forward to the next upgrade challenge!
